Common Questions about IOP
Outpatient care is a great way to help individuals transition back to their regular lives after other forms of treatment. Rehab may assist patients in conquering habits, but returning to a typical routine is also a pivotal part of the recovery journey. It is most common for relapses to take place within several months of finishing rehab; this is why Redemption Addiction Treatment offers an intensive outpatient program to assist those leaving partial hospitalization programs in reestablishing a normal life.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Redemption Addiction Treatment Center is more than just a simple follow-up program. We ensure our program helps you maintain the skills learned in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Through our IOP, you can benefit from treating your addiction without committing to extended stays.
Are you in the Wilmington, Delaware area?
If so, Redemption Addiction Treatment is nearby and has many options for therapy. It is critical to consider which drug rehab facility is the most suitable for your particular needs. To help make that determination, here are some questions that you should ask yourself when exploring facilities.
Is An Outpatient Program Right For Me?
Outpatient programs are typically reserved for follow-ups to PHPs. If you haven’t undergone a PHP, it isn’t recommended you pursue an IOP. In most cases, an IOP would be recommended after a PHP.
Is IOP at Redemption covered by insurance?
Ask your insurance provider if Redemption Addiction Treatment Center is covered by your plan.
Is it possible for me to commit to IOP?
The schedule that is recommended by our IOP is 3–5 days a week for three hours We understand that this may not always be feasible, so our virtual IOP’s offers more flexibility.
Our patients can get around their schedule concerns without sacrificing what makes an IOP work because it can be accessed from anywhere!
IOP is less intensive than PHP, with sessions lasting around three hours a day. PHP’s usually take up around 25 hours a week, while IOP’s can last anywhere from 9–15 hours. During this time, therapists will check in with patients, ensuring that the skills they learned during the partial hospitalization program have been maintained after they leave rehab. In this way, relapsing will be less likely as it is with post-rehab aftercare.
